Usualy just say, "Yes, Boss, you're right."

That's the question isn't it... And it depends on whether it's coming down the food chain or up the food chain

Luckily with how mines made up i don't have to deal with much

I dont believe what anyone tells me - I process all of it

I ignore it if it doesn't involve me. If its impeding my work or constitutes unprofessional behaviour towards me, I report it. I'm obligated to as an employe as well as learning what constitutes each case.

Concentrate on your work.

I have lunch at my desk , trying to avoid rubbish conversations with colleagues.

I normally give them something dangerous and tell them not to touch it 😉

I hum “Amazing Grace” with a bit of grit in my throat to refrain from screaming. There’s definitely some eye rolling there as well.

Remind myself putting up with it is part of what I’m getting paid for and try to be gracious about it.

It happens every single day.
That is part of work life.

If I need to play a part in solving the issue, I will.

Otherwise ignore

In most cases it was the boss, so I had no choice except to accept it.

It can be pretty infuriating when the stupidity impacts a client, that makes it hard to ignore

They are called senior management. There to give you hours of fun and laughter.

Just smile an take the money. At least you don’t have to live with them at home.

I just have to roll my eyes and deal with it. Luckily I work from home, so I deal with it from a distance.

that is what the boss gets paid the big bucks for...make them deal with it.

I always tried to focus on the work. I figured as long as the job was getting done, folks would leave me to it. But I also worked in a union shop.
