Which is much more stressful to work in, fast food or retail?

I have worked in retail but never in fast food. I imagine fast food to be the worst. You are not only dealing with food but also impatient hungry customers and some very demanding. Heat in the kitchen and large job turnovers which means always yhiring and trading new workers who may not have good work ethics.

I think fast food in the kitchen because of gross grease and the heat everywhere.

Ive only worked in fast food so im biased but at least i got free food. Im certain retail is a nightmare too

Having worked in Retail, I think fast food cuz when people are hangry they get animalistic.

But handling food, is stressful for me.

Totally depends. I worked for Kroger and it was pretty slow paced. Going into Aldi's daily now and seeing how they operate, it's insane and very stressful. Purposefully understaffed so one person is doing a million things
