Is “remote” work another way of saying “overwhelmed and hiding in bed” 🙈?

I had remote work for 3 years and then my next jobs switched back to full in office. It was jarring transition but I'm used to it again. I do think it's easier to have a good routine when you're in office as opposed at home in your pyjamas and watching a movie while working

My brother has been working from home due to an injury on his foot. If he had given up smoking like the Doctors ordered, the wound would have healed months ago.

My daughter-in-law works from home, and the on-site location is 200 miles away. She is connected online much of the day and travels to the "headquarters" about once a month for a totally useless meeting. She also travels to remote sites in Florida and other places. She insists that she gets more work done since nobody can stop by her desk and bother her.
No, it's another way of saying, I prefer to save time and be more efficient by eliminating the commute and having to get dressed

I'd say it could qualify as work. Self employed sector. Not really lucrative. But work. 🤣

Ummm...no.

It's a way of saying, "I can finally accomplish a lot more without bonehead interruptions."
No, it's another way of giving the office a one finger salute.
