Lol, the other day on a talk back radio station my mum listens to

@deadgerbil Here I saw a guy coming out from a pedestrian only area with his scooter. Lights off (except for a greenish-blue, neon-like led strip on the bottom that here is absolutely illegal), engine/exhaust clearly modded, helmet on but with the strap loose for the rider, and the passenger instead was completely without a helmet. There was a patrol that was enforcing the no-vehicles zone but their car was both turned off, and angled pointing towards inside the pedestrian area (while the scooter just came out of an alley, and then was going out of it). I saw the policewoman in complete disbelief looking at them and reacting kinda like this:
Then the scooter dodged her and the car, ehile the passenger was covering the plate with his hand, and then went away lol

To give you an idea of the wild west...

@Elessar that's actually risky behavior lol and I've yet to see the appeal of fancy lights like that on bikes, scooters etc. My friend has an electric scooter(kick scooter type but larger and with a motor) that has a very underwhelming head and tail lights while having very prominent deck lights. It's backwards from a safety perspective

@deadgerbil I know, but also, those guys were easily in the 30s (or if they were young they were aging really bad lol) so if they haven't realized by now that it's reckless nothing will do.
