Have you given up losing weight?

I'm big and thick I know it. I also know I'll never will be a size 5 either. But I don't size be size 500 either
LadyGrace · 70-79
No but really it's hard. It's very hard. But I never give up even though it's very slow and of course that's the best way to lose weight, but there's really only one reason why I'm trying to lose weight and reach my goal, and that's because I want to feel better, be able to move better, and not hurt so much. I wish you the best in your weight loss journey. But no matter what, you're enough. Love yourself for who you are, not your weight.

I didn't give up totally, but I feel like I'm going no where. At least I'm not gaining any, but I'm not losing any either.

I'm frustrated
DanielsASJ · 36-40, M
@LadyGrace Hey, I am also trying to get my goals. 👋
Houdini · 56-60, M
Nothing wrong with that. We are what we are not what everyone wants us to be. Plus it’s harder to kidnap big people lol 😂

@ThickMadame i canunderstand where you are coming from i retire before christmas from work and with that i piled on a lot of excess weight . i am walking daily too try and keep my weight down but hit that point where is not coming off . i am still going too persevere as otherwise all the good work will be wasted
OverTheHill · 56-60, M
It's never 5oo late. I had been obese most of my life. My parents deaths and my own health getting worse led me to make changes. I joined weight Watchers and started walking daily, I lost over 90lbs over a period of a year,

You can do it. Take it slowly to start.

I lost some weight unintentionally when I developed gluten intolerance. Went from size 4/6 to size 2. I miss my old boobs, though.
ThickMadame · 51-55, F
@SeaGlass 😲 Gluten can do that
SeaGlass · F
@ThickMadame Gluten causes an autoimmune reaction in everyone, but some people can handle it alright. For me, it made me really sick. But there are people who give it up just to lose weight. It's not easy to do, though. I eat of a lot of rice, potatoes and quinoa now.
ThickMadame · 51-55, F
@SeaGlass Wow! I never knew anything gluten.
I have in the past because I think I was too impatient. This time, I'm going to give myself a year. It's been 6 months and I've lost 8 pounds so far. I'm exercising, strength training, and eating mostly whole foods.
Magenta · F
No. I try to maintain mostly as I'm at the weight I like to be. If I start to gain I get serious and do some Intermittent fasting for a bit.

The easiest way to lose weight is to cut way back on what you eat.
AmericanAvenger · 56-60, M
I like big and thick
ThickMadame · 51-55, F
@AmericanAvenger That's what they all say
AmericanAvenger · 56-60, M
@ThickMadame Well , there is always the matter of preference. I had more than one girlfriend that was over 250lbs (dress sizes over 20)- they carried it well and knew how to dress in ways that flattered their shapes. Many big women try to dress like little women and that is where they go wrong.
Just how hot are you?
ThickMadame · 51-55, F
@AmericanAvenger Careful there, I'm married and I'll block you

I'm 6 foot and 1 inches tall and my weight is about 290 pounds. I'm just taller then my husband
JustDJ76 · 46-50, M
No. I only have about 10-15 pound to reach my goal.
Give up seed oils and sugar
I haven't given up yet.
SissySecrets · 46-50, T
I have given up on it.

I'd like to gain weight. It's just as hard
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Lilymoon really, are you okay?
ThickMadame · 51-55, F
@Lilymoon Are you underweight?
Chickie · F
I have trouble remaining motivated but I can't let it go at the same time because I don't like being fat.
DDonde · 31-35, M
No, I've done it once before, I can do it again.
