I love the rain.

A warm summer rain is the best.

My grandson and I went out into it the other day and had a very fun time.
At first he was all like "Puppa it's wet." and I was like "I know buddy. C'mon"
It didn't take long for us to start splashing each other as we stomped through the puddles.

His mother wasn' all that impressed with the state of his sneakers when I returned him...

I love rain and petrichor. They’re wonderful.

And the SCENT of a pine forest after the rain...AMAZING!!!

I love listening to it rain...a beautiful sound, especially first thing in the morning or late at night when the land is quiet

I own a Hardwood forest farm and the petrichor is different and not as beautiful as a pine forest for sure!

I didn't know that term. Thanks for sharing it. I do love that smell, as long as it doesn't come with flooding rains like we sometimes experience.

Just waiting for tomorrow, when we may get the gentle patter or possibly the roar of a thunder storm. The tiny bit of rain overnight, evaporated by 9am, but the petrichor was obvious.

Have you ever walked naked in a light rain? There is no way to adequately describe the joyful feeling.
