Still lots of snow in my town, but in the adjacent city no. It's still not very spring like highs just around zero. It's 7 now.

We had snow on Monday wind chills below zero but today was in the 80s

@beermeplease hopefully it will stay warm. I hate the cold 🥶
@Cigarguy we got lucky this year
Most of the snow melted here but there is still some in forests/woodsy areas.
Sapio · 51-55, M
It snowed yesterday. I figure it'll do that a few more times from now till April.

What's snow?
Musicman · 61-69, M
Noooooo! We don't see the white stuff here. Today was in the low 80's. 🙂
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@Musicman People are really good here to help others in an emergency such as tornado or other extreme events. They’ll mention that after a tragedy and say they will rebuild. Some have done that 3 times in Moore rather than move. Moore is especially good to help one another, they have had way more than their share of destructive tornadoes. And some have good jobs in various sectors and stay due that. The cost of living is a lot lower in other areas with good jobs.
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@Musicman Why would anyone live in Florida or other coastal areas with those hurricanes that wipe out a lot of real estate doing widespread damage.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@cherokeepatti True, but we usually only get one hurricane a year that will affect us. When it happens we get plenty of warning.
It was 55 today, it is forecast to be 76 on saturday.
@beermeplease In december 2008 we got a half an inch at McCarren international, it was shut down because they didn't have even one deicing truck.
@NativePortlander1970 what would scare me is if they had one and needed to use it. that trying to find a qualified person to deice it and trusting them. pretty sure someone (everyone) at o'hare is qualified
@beermeplease So true
