Noooooo! We don't see the white stuff here. Today was in the low 80's. 🙂

@Musicman It got up to 90 today and supposed to be 95 tomorrow. I think we just passed Spring and headed straight into summer.

@cherokeepatti Wow! Even we haven't hit 90 yet.

@Musicman Weather in Oklahoma is like living in Crazy town, you never know what to expect from week to week.

@cherokeepatti That is terrible! ☹☹

@Musicman We’ve had floods, ice storms, tornadoes, extremely damaging windstorms, scorching winds in the summer, earthquakes, major hail storms, etc. sometimes within a year’s time. It’s why home-owners insurance is so high in Oklahoma.

@cherokeepatti Why would anyone want to live there???
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@Musicman People are really good here to help others in an emergency such as tornado or other extreme events. They’ll mention that after a tragedy and say they will rebuild. Some have done that 3 times in Moore rather than move. Moore is especially good to help one another, they have had way more than their share of destructive tornadoes. And some have good jobs in various sectors and stay due that. The cost of living is a lot lower in other areas with good jobs.

@Musicman Why would anyone live in Florida or other coastal areas with those hurricanes that wipe out a lot of real estate doing widespread damage.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@cherokeepatti True, but we usually only get one hurricane a year that will affect us. When it happens we get plenty of warning.
