Most of you are going to laugh your head off but if I could buy a really nice station wagon. It's very nostalgic to me we had them growing up . We even had one in the 70s that we could ride in the back of and we took a trip down to Ohio in it. People maybe like well why don't you just go buy one ? But ,people in my situation, that aren't very well off, buy the cars they can afford at the time they become available. But, I like my used Toyota Camry pretty well it runs very good
@Justmeraeagain That doesn't surprise me. Most people today are to afraid to drive anything the size that our parents drove. Our motorhome with the car hooked up for towing is 64' long. Now that did take a few days of driving to get use to.
My uncle had a new challenger a few years ago Omg i drove it once and loved it Sorry the soccer mom in me realized it was awesome to drive, but enough like a regular car to be practical for family stuff
You have an excellent eye... plus, why are the front and rear wheels different????????????? I just now noticed that. Disregard my comment. Not this one. The comment with the phony baloney photo.
@rinkydinkydoink no worries. The details not matching are a hallmark of AI slop. The classic Citroën DS is regularly a victim of similar YouTube AI slop, also usually under the premise that the company is bringing it back for a new retro-modern / sportier version in 2025, 2026 and so forth, and in at least one case the details of the left side of the car didn't even match the right side, it was like two different cars, the logo on the steering wheel was messed up and so forth. It's turning YouTube into a cesspool.
The car from the Movie "Christine" That Plymouth Fury or whatever... And YES I would drive it everywhere and even have a custom tag on the front that said "Christine" 😈😈❤❤❤ and I do know I seen online the last one from the movie sold at an Auction a few years back down in Florida.... But Yeah
if I could have only one pick, then ... Citroën DS electric conversion in an ideal world the conversion would be done by people who engineered the Lucid Air and the Porsche Taycan [media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-vaQk9Eklo]
a modernized, electrified take on Buckminster Fuller's Dymaxion Car would be interesting too, especially if it didn't sacrifice any of the original's incredible drag coefficient, and was less prone to rollovers than the original three-wheel design ... it's not great that the driver is the crumple zone either
and a modern electrified take on the classic Citroën H van would be cool too
@meggie That's fantastic. We live over a mile from the closest store. The grocery store and restaurants are all about 3 miles away. Our public transportation is not very good.
@Musicman it really is great. I am looking into an electric bike to go further afield. You are lucky, for an American, to live as close as you do to these ammenities. When i visited my cousin in the forces at Virginia Beach there was nothing nearby for miles.
