Today, it’s a little crisp…

its about -34 now. Yesterday my friends took a picture of their thermometers at the lowest temperature the thermometer can show. -50. Sadly in the midst of this cold snap our electrical system was in such danger of collapse they had an emergency broadcast alert on all the cell phones, radios and TVs telling everyone to turn off their stove, dryer, dishwasher, car or truck especially if they are electric vehicles. The cold weather shut down all the wind farms and the sun had set so there was no solar and a generating station using natural gas went off line.

Minus 12C here today... and frozen water pipes. That's what happens when you live in the South.

Put it this way it's below freezing. There's a blanket of frost and ice covering everything right now.
