@Nelladell I'm sure I do. Life is what happens when you're busy making plans.
Nelladell · 80-89, F
@ravenwind43 Very often very true, I think.

To live to my fullest potential.
ShadowWorker · 61-69, F
Not to waste the gifts I have received in my life.
Most folks think a good man,,good marriage is a fable..I use to think the same..that is wrong. For my good man, I care for him the best I can. For the land we own, we care and love our slice of Heaven. We work and improve it the best we can. I guess my goals as I said... count my blessings and honor them and utilize them the best I can. Simple pleasures of life ❤✌

For my children not to accept welfare. Is truly my life's goal, it destroyed their mother's.

To simply be happy.
Nelladell · 80-89, F
@Placetodream BINGO! I mean, me, too. Isn'tndthat what all the hoo haw is about? Don't we drink as a way to search for happiness? And wear makeup in hopes it will make us happier? And start smoking so we can be cool, make friends and be happy? I vaguely remember something about the song that says we're looking in all the wrong places --

This reminds me of my first post when I created my account on Experience project, more than 11 years ago. But the question was way earlier in my mind.

I’m well past having goals, and dreams. Even though I have nothing to look forward to, I suppose the end of the pandemic would be a start. At least I could go out again.
Improving oneself is always a wise investment, but I no longer set goals. I think it's best to live moment to moment. Life is ever changing and we should learn to change with it. Goals don't allow flexibility and can lead to disappointments. I see that happening with people around me; always struggling to reach that new goal instead of naturally blossoming.🌷
Just my $0.02😉
Just my $0.02😉
Nelladell · 80-89, F
@MoonlightLullaby I certainly see your point. I assume you would not have a problem with changing goals
@Nelladell That's just it ..
I no longer make resolutions, set goals or dream for a particular type of life. I haven't any spoteniaty or a lot of flexibility due to certain circumstances. I just live day to day and try to give life the best chance I can.💪

@MoonlightLullaby I am grateful to have heard it said that if we do the very best we can -- that's perfection.

@Max13 I take that as an offer to visit with you if I should feel lonely. Thank you. It's the kindness I have come to expect of you. And it's why I am a bit surprised to hear you say you you may not be nice. I don't know if I heard that part wrong -- at any rate, thank you. I have been alone since my husband died in 2020, but I have not yet been lonely. If I ever do get lonely, I plan to remember this conversation. Thank you again.

It is subject to change, but I want to find a career that fits so well with who I am that it doesn't feel like work. That or I want a job that satisfies me as well as others (but not in a weird way, ya freakies)

Nelladell · 80-89, F
@PhoenixPhail Bless your heart. Do you think it might be worth your time to look around inside yourself to see if you could fine the reason?
PhoenixPhail · M
@Nelladell I still have a bit of hope that I might find someone to connect with. It's been so hard living alone, year after year.
However, with all I've learned about the death experience, there's such a great attraction to it, I keep asking myself why I don't just exit this ailing and damaged container, and move on.
I'm SO looking forward to making my transition.
