What is your go to hot sauce?

I keep Louisiana, Sriracha and cholula on hand at all times.
If I'm eating chicken, I like having KC Masterpiece on it. Problem: Acid reflux and hot sauce do not go well together. And a co-worker was telling me just last week how they used to put hot sauce on just about everything.... until they started having stomach problems, and are now on prescription medication.

While hot sauce is delicious, it has to be taken with heavy moderation.

I think Sriracha is really the best. You don't have to use much to get the right effect. We used to eat Peking ravioli with it. Franks is really too mild, and too vinegary. One of my faves, (and I am out right now), is Mama Africa sauce.

Tabasco is good. Sriracha is ok as an ingredient but tastes a bit raw on it's own.

I've been making an Indian style chilli pickle recently that kicks arse.

I had a restaurant ages ago and imported 1 ton cayenne mesh from ecuador to make my own hot sauce, it was a blast :)


Picked up a few of these when we travelled to Mexico…as hot as they advertise.

Warmed BBQ sauce is as hot a sauce as I will eat. Tears me up so I avoid the liquid fire stuff

varies depending on food, anywhere from texas pete to habanero sauce
