We met online. The first time we spoke on the phone we stayed up all night getting to know each other. Then another week of talking until dawn. I flew to meet him soon after & then he visited me & we got engaged. I’ve been so grateful for the friendship, connection, love we have shared through the years together. I appreciate having him with me through it all. He’s the best friend I’ve ever had a greater husband than I might deserve & now seeing him become a better father than I could have hoped for. I don't mind being single as long as I have a dog. Got my dog from the shelter. I walked past all the kennels and seriously loved them all and for a bit didn't think I could pick one. Then I saw this sweet fur baby that just grabbed hold of my heart. We have been together for 11 years, she is 13.

Our story is kinda weird. We met through an online hobby of like, competitive short story writing called e-wrestling. She lived in Edmonton at the same time I did but we never met and she then moved to Toronto. After talking for several more months she was complaining about the lack of a roommate. I had nothing going on in Edmonton so on a whim decided to move across the country.

We hated each other in person for the first month or so, figured it out, and have now been together 17 years.

In a bar. It was from a friend I`d known for a long time, she thought it would be good for us to get together.

Met at the gym. He used to stare at me all the time and I found him creepy. One day someone introduced us and I was cool towards him and slowly got to know him a little. He asked me out a few times and I had an excuse or changed my workout time. Eventually I agreed to a drink at the pub near the gym and slowly I started to thaw towards him. We both adore each other now and are very lucky.

I started working at the company he worked at, he immediately turned to his colleague and said, I'm going to marry her...we were all like Yeah Right 🙄.. I was not into him, but he is a persistent man and we married 3 years later and have been together for 24 years now.

On a marriage app. I was about to delete it and posted a bunch of ridiculous crap on there. He thought it was funny and messaged me. He called me the next day and told me his first memory was of his mom breastfeeding him. He was trying to one up me by attempting to be weirder than my profile. That's when I knew it was love

I’d met her at a New Year’s Eve party. I don’t know about love at first sight, but I was immediately intrigued.

We met in junior high. Were friends through school, each married someone else, got divorced, then reconnected with each other.

We met at work. Started as respected colleagues then friends then more. Kept it quiet for years though. Pretty boring stuff actually. 😅🤣

We talked briefly a year b4 we met. On a dare from my friend she talked dirty to me. I hung up on her. The same friend set us up on a blind date a year later. We didn't know about the phone call until years later when we compared stories. Our blind date was terrible. But we talked on the phone and got to know about each other. We ran up telephone bill's of $1000.00 a month for a few months b4 we tried again. Next date was a lot better. Now married for 26 years.

We was best friend's growing up. His parents had land right next to us. So we hanged out a lot growing up. When i moved back home he would come over to do repairs on the house or if i needed help with something. One day he asked me out and I said yes.

at a one of my friend's party, she laughed at my stupid ass jokes and i asked her out the next day. we talked about deep topics and we took it slow before we could call it a relationship. this is gonna sound weird but this one of the few women in my life that just knows me. she knows when i need space, when im down but i pretend like everything is okay. she just see me for who i am.
