1919. Well if I'd survived WW1 probably too old to serve. Actually I'd probably be dead anyway no previous male antecedents of mine lived to 60.
Probably working in the dockyard building ships like most people round here did. That or in the brickfields digging or on the land digging crops.

@pennynoodles Lanterns are the only light bright enough to read, or firelight. If I had electric...well, it would be almost like my life on my grandfather's farm. In 1918 they had electric.
