I would say it really only effects famous people or public figures because the world likes to be in a frinzy. But any other time i think its pretty okay just don’t say it to a black person lol.

We live our live on morals, not talking about a crimes. But the face values of morals is what makes opinions and what makes eachother different. We all know animals get tortured when we eat mean, but we don’t care and still eat it, because that is our morals. But we are still seen as good people. Same with slurs, it’s just a word. Just because i say the n word or anyword doesn’t make i hate a race (witch is the definition of racism) and it doenst mean I’m a bad person because it’s just my morals. Plus words DO loose their values over time. Take the C world for example it was a terrible word to say not that long ago and now it's been used so many times in a different context it means something else and isn’t seen as bad.
@TuxedoMask That actually is another word that is inappropriate to use if you have any respect for women. Just because some people tolerate being disrespected doesn’t change that fact.

@TuxedoMask I think you have a good point of view, it's just not realistic. Yes, it's just a word but that word held a lot of weight not too long ago. It's a great idea and concept to ask a group of people to move on and just think of it as a word but it's not reality. A lot of people are still not over the history associated with it. It's a good think you don't use it in front of black people, they'll probably jump you 😂.

Say it whenever you want. That's what I do. I just don't want to say it.
I would say that it's very mean to call someone the n-word unless you are a black person calling a black person a nigga, in which case it means "friend" or "brother." I would say it is very mean to refer to groups of people that way too. I think it's not necessarily mean to read what someone else said, if what they said is mean and you indicate that you think those comments are very mean.

If you get triggered by a word, a word. Then that’s an unstable way to live your life. HAahah, I’m so glad I’m not a whiny teenager anymore who thinks the world owes me for my sensitivity and balls deep in this privilege game were i literally tell people not to say a word. @bij, it’s not a healthy way to live life, much better when your here in the real word.
@33person That’s a weak excuse. You (general “you”) are what you call yourself. It makes no sense to adopt the name used to dehumanize you and then complain about being dehumanized.

@bijouxbroussard See, to me, it's important to understand what people are calling themselves when they call themselves "niggas." It's not the same as what white people are calling black people when they call them "n*ggers." I think all humans have the right to complain about being dehumanized unless they are terrorists or, in some other way, a threat to humanity.

Besides never? Never.
If you're talking about "nigger", I think it belongs to black people. Whoever wants to use it, should be allowed to if they are African Americans that the unfortunate word has been ascribed to. I use the words, "cracker" and "peckerwood" without flinching, but my own body tells me that it's not okay for me to say "nigger". The word sound ugly in a white mouth. People have been being ugly to each other for a long time, and there are plenty of ugly words that came to be because of it.
My grand pa used to tell me, "When in doubt, don't". It's pretty good advice, I think. If you get a catch in your spirit about saying or doing anything, you should probably not do it. That "catch" is there for a reason.

Why would you want to?

@Llort There are just some words I have no interest in using. That word is one of them.
But when is.it right to use?
@Llort The hatred it represents still exists. It’s never appropriate.
