If you could travel anywhere in the world, where do you want to visit?

My first choice is Antarctica and my second is Egypt.

For many years I have wanted to visit the South Pacific Island Nation - Tuvalu.
It is situated about halfway between Australia and Hawaii.
It is the world's third smallest nation population wise, with just over 10,600 people.
Scientists say that it will be uninhabitable in the future due to constant inundation.

I LIVED in Japan when I was 14 months old, but I don't remember anything about it! All I have are old black and white photos of the reclining Buddha, with me in front of it, and loads of Japanese photographers taking my photo. Apparently, at that time in Japan, it was highly unusual to see a child of my age walking!

SO...I would like to go again...with a ton of money, and go shopping!!!

You might have some difficulties staying there in Antarctica proper. 🙃

Some Cruz ships might go around there, yet it's not likely you'll ever get onto the continent itself.

You have to have a reason for even being there to begin with.

There is no hotels there, for instance. You might even have to share accommodations with many, if you do have a reason to be there.

AI analysis of my statement
GPT-4o mini

Absolutely! Travel to Antarctica is quite restricted and requires careful planning.

Getting to Antarctica
Access Points

Most travelers get to Antarctica via cruise ships that depart from Ushuaia, Argentina. While the ships can take you to the surrounding waters, few actually land on the continent.

Reasons to Visit

You typically need a legitimate reason to set foot on the land, such as scientific research, environmental studies, or some organized tours that focus on adventure travel. Even then, permits and arrangements are strictly regulated.

Accommodations

There are no hotels on the continent itself, and accommodations are often basic and shared, primarily on research stations or vessels.

Traveling there is definitely a unique experience, but it requires preparation and flexibility!
First, Venice to visit a very sweet longtime friend. and then Geneva to visit with another. lovely people. After that England and Scotland to meet some of my gaming friends. just for starters
I’ll say something unusual like Vladivostok Russia. I don’t like European Russia because of the war with Ukraine but I hear Vladivostok is so close to Asia I’d visit there.
