I collect CD's too. I've picked up lots at thrift stores, and also on Ebay.

Model trains and diecast cars and trucks.
thepeculiarpanda · 36-40, M
Still do, I'm rebuilding my collection of old Ninja Turtles figures. Mom made me throw mine away when I was 7 because there was "too much Eastern religion in the show".

@thepeculiarpanda
Damn that sucks man, good to hear you rebuilding tho.

Lol the New Era fitted hats tells me they were all rap CD's 😅

I collect Hot Wheels now as an adult. I started some years ago just because I'm a car guy & they were my favorite toys as a kid. I stopped playing with them by age 11 because I felt embarrassed to still play with toys. I grew up too fast 🤷 collecting them now satisfies.the kid in me & feels like taking my childhood back. Plus my daughter loves them now too so we play with them together

Haha yeah every single one, I'm a hip hop head, altho I listen to varieties of music now,
I can relate, I grew up fast too, I had to go back and rewatch beyblade episodes 😂

When I was a kid, I used to collect keys and key tags, which at the time, was less of a hobby and more of an eccentricity or idiosyncrasy or whatever one might call it.

Any random, discarded key or key tag I saw, I just simply had to have.

I remember, when I was about 7, maybe 8, my family and I were at a flea market where we chanced upon a vendor selling wares made of leather and among them, was this leather key tag which had the likeness of a bald eagle printed on it and at the time, I thought it was the coolest thing ever, so I asked my Parents if they could buy it and they did.

I collect my drawings. I'm not really into material things. All means nothing to me.

Not really intentionally.. When My Uncle sold his house, he gave me 4 giant Boxes of old Baseball cards.. HOLY CRAP, not a huge baseball fan at the time, they were worth a SHIT TON of money, I split it with him.. I since have become a fan, but I was Stunned at what a few were worth.. We got a car with the money!

CD's, comics, and baseball cards.
fun4us2b · M
@SleepingWithGhosts Imagine - I had Micky Mantle and Tom Seaver Baseball cards and I clothes-pinned them to my bike to make motor noises 😂 - (Actually met Tom Seaver too!)
SleepingWithGhosts · 46-50, M
@fun4us2b That's awesome meeting him! I lost all my cards from a flood in 08. They had been in my parents basement. I would love to have that Nolan Ryan rookie card now.

I’ve never had the habit to collect anything. I tend not to get attached to material things because they come and go
JohnnyNoir · 61-69, M
I've been collecting old photos, slides, negatives from estate sales, antique shops and flea markets. I scan them and share them in specialty groups online
