what are some of your favorite sounds/noises?

to me, rain on a metal roof is good. or rain through the leaves.
ice cubes clunking around inside a glass container on a hot day.
the wing buzz and soft peeps of a hummingbird that feels you owe him.

@0uijaFinger it's weird how context can shift everything. but understandable.

complete tangent that looking this up made me wonder: how did so many bands/artists/et al so clearly see the signs of approaching facism? I wonder if I had had a few more years on me if I'd have recognized the undertones. was it all just... being young? optimistic?

sorry, I should stick to complete banality for sw. you betta run!

@Neuman
Actually very good!!!
Many many saw it coming. But it's one of those things that people say..
Aw come on man. No way..
Until they were on a plane to Fuckistan somewhere.

Banality ??

Nah.. if the smart ones keep it banal and about who's got the juiciest butt, .. they will never find each other.

Yeah?

My dad's laughter, the sounds of an early morning, Carrie Underwood, a goal being scored at the World-Famous City Ground and, this will sound weird sweeties, but my Matt gives out this little contented sigh every so often.

Always makes me smile.

Birds singing, especially as the sun rises. The sound of a stream flowing is lovely too. I also love the sound of light chatter and meat sizzling on a bbq and my clients take a deep breath and sigh during a massage. All of those sounds mean relaxation, peace and contentment. 😊

@PatientlyWaiting25 I think water sounds are always pretty good. and yeah, all sounds pretty relaxing. although I used to hate spring/summer birds at sunrise. they'd always be right outside the window. and where I grew up it could be a bit of a challenge to sleep when the heat stuck around till late evening.

@ReptilianFromPlanetCrush I haven't really spent much time near the sea, but I can understand how it could be.

Birds: loons (I never heard them live though, just reproduced sound), nightingales, golden orioles, blackbirds, Euroasian collared doves, wood warblers
Crickets on a summer night
Frogs croaking in a river or swamp at night
Post-punk guitars with good delay and reverbs
A train breaking in a distance
Neuman · M
@CrazyMusicLover I really want to find some loons to shoot photographically. and puffins. I wonder what they sound like. all sound pretty good.
