Getting ready to go to a memorial service.

Someone my age. One minute laughing with family and friends, the next… gone.

His sister is struggling deeply. They had an argument the day before and never got the chance to mend it. Harsh words can echo loudly when there’s no opportunity to mend
then.
Love who you love. Make sure they know it. Say what needs to be said.

This world doesn’t wait for convenience.
No time is promised.

You have my sincere condolences. I hope you can find consolation in the simple act sharing the grief with others.

I met a dear friend on 26th December coming out of a shop who told me her very best friend had suddenly died with no warning on Christmas Eve. She was a single mum with 3 children in her mid-40s. These totally unanticipated losses are some of the hardest to come to terms with. 😞
@FreddieUK it's sudden and devastating

People DO get storms of grumpiness...
-Part of love, me thinks, is recognizing that...

AND differentiating from harmful anger and resentment.

Hopefully the sister realizes both loved the other.
@Neoerectus i agree, and i hope she realizes their love was stronger than any argument. Finds peace eventually

I can relate. We went to dinner on a Saturday night with the neighbor and his wife.
Sunday eve the wife passed from a heart attack.
Never know when your time is up.
@jackson55 I'm so sorry

I'm sorry for your loss.
I agree, I always try to leave people on a kind note, I know of many people where things were left on a bad not and a death occurred.

I hope she gets better. The last thing said is only a small drop compared to how they interacted. Im sure her brother loved her no matter what was said.

Ugh. Sorry for your loss. There is no good loss but being blindsided by the unexpected loss of someone young really is brutal, and puts into perspective what is truly important in life 😔😔
@TrunkZ very true

Sorry for your loss and my prayers are with their family. This time of year makes the loss so much harder to bear.
@AngelUnforgiven thank you
