Getting ready to go to a memorial service.

Someone my age. One minute laughing with family and friends, the next… gone.

His sister is struggling deeply. They had an argument the day before and never got the chance to mend it. Harsh words can echo loudly when there’s no opportunity to mend
then.
Love who you love. Make sure they know it. Say what needs to be said.

You have my sincere condolences. I hope you can find consolation in the simple act sharing the grief with others.

I met a dear friend on 26th December coming out of a shop who told me her very best friend had suddenly died with no warning on Christmas Eve. She was a single mum with 3 children in her mid-40s. These totally unanticipated losses are some of the hardest to come to terms with. 😞
