Why am I having mixed and confused feelings?

There was a time when I was married and was in a very dark place. My ex husband was abusive and my marriage was hell. My brother was my biggest supporter. He was there for me through all of it. I got divorced and haven’t dated anyone since.

Now, the more I search for love, the more I long for a man touch, the more I want to be with a man, the more my brother comes to my mind. If I tell myself that I don’t have intimate feelings for my brother, I would be lying. If I tell myself that I’m not sexually attractive to my brother, I’m not being truthful.

But why am I getting these mixed and confused feelings? Like I know being with my brother is wrong, but it feels so right.

Like I know being with my brother is wrong, but it feels so right.

Not really. There is nothing wrong with it. Just that humanity has been programmed to think the way and made as taboo once upon a time, when inbreeding depression occurred and there were no contraceptive methods available. There is no incest with contraception. And there is no inbreeding or incest in loving, for it was only made so to save the offspring. But now nobody bothers about out-breeding depression which is causing more havoc now.

So you are in a way Marooned in life with your brother, which is known as Adam & Eve Situation.

So you have all my encouragement to go ahead.

You can read my book to gain more insight about it.

First of all, Adam & Eve were not brother and sister so why don't we back up and start over from there?

@swirlie 😀😀 as if god came and told you ...

The truth is, Eve was the one sent first, pregnant with Adam.

And Adam & Eve Situation can happen to any who are marooned, like in the movie Blue Lagoon. relationship doesn't matter after that.

Ummm i cant imagine in a million years why y'all would think this is ok or even feels right. 🤮 And i can just imagine how proud your parents or the rest of your family must be. I mean can't you find a man that isn't related to you?

I have never once thought of my sister like that.
@swirlie Just as long as he was nice to her.

@Sojournersoul
Yep, big brother standing by, just in case!
@swirlie Yep. That was my only thought. Lol
Well I think it’s obvious why you’re having mixed feelings. Your conscience is telling you something.

Makes sense. He was a strong man when you needed one. And you already love him.

If he is also open to it, let it happen, go for it, enjoy life

You both are adults...enjoy life!

For you both to be having sexual interests in each other could only mean one thing and that is, you two are not biological sister and brother.

Either it's one or both of you who were adopted into the family you grew up in, but you are not biologically connected to your brother in any way through either of your parents, even if your mother re-married and had a second child by her second husband.

The only way that both of you could be sexually attracted to each other is if there was no biological connection that you both shared. That is nature's way of discouraging incest, which is why teenaged girls hate their brothers and why a teenaged girl becomes repulsed at the sight of her father when prior to the onset of her puberty, she was daddy's little angel. Suddenly things changed and daddy can't figure out what happened to his daughter who no longer wants anything to do with him.

@swirlie absurd and baseless theory.

and why a teenaged girl becomes repulsed at the sight of her father
That's basically because she develops sexual feelings towards her dad so much that she is brainwashed not to pursue it and in order to abstain, she distances herself as even a hug or kiss that turns her on. Many of my girlfriends have confessed to me that their first attraction is that of their father's phallus and they have tried to see it or feel it in various ways.

real people in the real world

And who are they? and what is the world that is real ? And who knows what reality means and how different it is from fantasy ? And how do you consider yourself a real person from a real world ?

As long as you don't have his babies it's no one's business but your's

@hunkalove
Even if she did have his babies, it's still nobody's business unless she finds herself in the unfortunate position of being an American citizen who lives in the USA when it all goes down, because then she's pretty much fukked in a big way if those American evangelicals catch wind of the story who then tell Trump, who then sends ICE around to pay her and her brother a visit.
