Depends on who that ‘someone else’ is.

MissNoahLenFoxx · 31-35, F
Worrying about someone else makes me free from myself. If I focus on them and what they’re doing I don’t have to face my own thoughts or emotions or issues. Dealt with life in this manner for 10 years. Wasn’t until recently I decided that I had to let them go…so I guess now I’m in the phase of learning how to live without them being my main focus
No. I care about people's feelings. Unless they've given me a reason not to.

Freedom isn't lack of caring and it bothers me that's what humans believe these days.

It does, yes. Because I care & sometimes I care waayyyyy too much and it really weighs on me. I had to learn to care at a distance to protect my own mind.

The world of interactions and feelings and relationships is a fabric in which we are all wrapped. To isolate oneself, and eschew caring, is to remove a learning and growing experience.

Naturally, you should not consider that for a moment if the person whose feelings you worry about is an abuser, or a narcissist.

For me it depends upon the person, place, and time of our interactions. Is it business, personal, a conflict of interests, romantic, to friends and family members.
No, caring about how others feel makes us more civilized, better neighbors.

@bijouxbroussard ....democrats, progressives, nice people in general.
ANY worry makes you less free.
