People Just Naturally Like Those who are Similar

I got into a little discussion with someone here over what so many like to call "racism". As I pointed out to him:

You can't seriously expect everyone to like everyone else; that's not going to happen. It's a part of human nature to like those who are similar to us, and treat with suspicion those who aren't.

And I'm right. You may not personally like that fact, but it's true nevertheless, and there is nothing objectively wrong about that.

You don't have to "like" anyone. But there is a world of difference between forming an opinion and expressing that opinion publically with exhortations to commit violence and discriminatory acts against groups of people based on a broadly defined characteristic. Or to exploit your membership of a majority group in society to disadvantage those deemed not to be part of that group.

@SunshineGirl Don't bother. She's just going to keep defending racism as a lifestyle, while denying the fact that she is a racist. She literally thinks it's funny that people made up lies about Haitians that instigated a race war. That's how she gets her kicks.
@LordShadowfire A "lifestyle"? Oh sure, I go about my day wondering how I can maximise my "racism" by insulting the next Asian I come across, and searching for better ways to wear my Klan outfit.
And yes, the story IS funny! 😂
Stop being such a 🤡
@SunshineGirl
exhortations to commit violence
Where do I do that? 🤨

@Bel6EQUJ5 I'm actually a pretty happy guy. I just don't let racism fly when I find it.
