Mr. Ditkovich just stresses me out

He wants to raise rent by $500. I argued with him but he keeps saying this isn't rent-free country.

I called Aunt May for some guidance and she says that I should maybe get a second job and re-apply for a job at Joe's Pizza with Mr. Aziz. I know, that's crazy right?! Screw that guy! I know I kept showing up late for my shifts but I had to save the world.

I honestly just wanna throw some dirt in Mr. Ditkovich's eyes.

Get out your copy of your lease, and make sure you know how much time he is allowed before raising your rent. You'll want to see if you are what is called a "tenant at will". If so, he can evict you for non-payment within 60 days if you don't pay the increase.

Consider getting a room mate. There are some people out there that would be willing to sleep in less than ideal conditions if the rent is within reason.
