I think its easy to fall into the trap of looking at others and not looking at yourself, taking accountability and changing your behaviour vs defending it. If that was simple we would have less horrible people to deal with on the daily

I believe that everyone has the potential to become what they accuse people of, the important thing is not to let ourselves take that path because it's easier to point a finger elsewhere. I have a personal experience with an ex best friend who turned into the exact person she was supposed to hate.

Crossed my mind many many many times, yes. I police my thoughts regularly. but only the negative, never the positive...which is also quite worrisome and something else to over think.

I try to take a step back and see if I can resolve what's irking me before I go around pointing fingers, accusing others and reprimanding what I perceive as inappropriate behavior.

I calculate and watch my own behaviour but no one is a robot.
