PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@HolyGuacamole thanks I will dedicate a track to you one day for your support
JavaJoe · 51-55, M
Lmao! Yes I’ve felt that way.... thankfully the rap industry can rest assured my children and responsibilities prevent me from making an impact on their genre 😆

@PlumBerries soooooooooo... not a typo? 🤔
PlumBerries · 31-35, F

Degbeme · 70-79, M
@PlumBerries Alright ... I suppose you`ll be wearing a huge clock around your neck? 🤦♂️
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
Yes I did this. I took some IT related training and then transitioned into IT full time. Totally worth it.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@PlumBerries Why thank you! If you have the inclination I can recommend going into IT. It's not easy, and long hours, but the pay is good and you have a lot of job security, people always need help with technology.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
I suck with technology.. half the time I cant even figure out my tv remote control.. I don't think I have a future in IT lol
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@PlumBerries Ha ha ha, well it's good you recognize that about yourself. The point being, it is possible to make changes in your life if you identify what you need to change and follow through on such changes.
I wish you the best of luck! 🥰

Gingerbreadspice · F
If you don’t make it as a rapper you’ll be poor with no job. If you want to give up your jobs then travel and rap that way you can work and do what you want.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@Gingerbreadspice gotta quit, so when a movie is made based on my life, it will be the dramatic part of the story
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
Haha i low key love Dr Phil xD
Your job sounds awesome man.
You got "dem sick bars"?
Your job sounds awesome man.

PlumBerries · 31-35, F

SweetMae · 70-79, F
You can do it!! Of course there are those years of near starvation sacrificing for your craft! But hey!! You could be famous some day. ☺️
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@SweetMae lol I am dedicated to it
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@PlumBerries I wish you all best! BTW Can I have your job?
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@SweetMae sure can :)
shans20 · 26-30, F
I feel that every day lol...however I say go for it! Don't they say that belief is the first step?
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@shans20 you should go for it also if you feel it.. worst that could happen is we end up homeless and poor.. but we can just start a community together and we would get by lol
XReaganX · 26-30, F
Essentially what I'm doing now but not to be in the rap industry lol
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@XReaganX that is awesome, what are your plans?
XReaganX · 26-30, F
@PlumBerries Just doing my best to be hired on as an apprentice. It's proving to be harder than expected, especially since no on has gotten back to me yet. Hopefully today's the day! I'll know if I've ben signed on or not.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I am sure it will work out in your favour though :)
Fernie · F
I've never heard of a Social Worker making "great pay" before
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
I didn't get into it for the pay. I love my job and the people I work with. It gets me out of my house and makes me feel like I am doing something worthwhile with my life.. the pay is just a bonus
Fernie · F
@PlumBerries I don't know ANYone who ever got into Social work for the pay...they did it for the same reasons you did but were worn down by the powers that be. Again, your situation is unique and you are very fortunate
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
that makes sense and yes I am very fortunate. hopefully I don't get that way in the future though

The job I have, I’m considering a career in shooting smack and washing windows at traffic lights in Hoddle St 😂😂😂😂
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@SW-User aiming high I see.. I like your ambition my friend lol

SW-User
Was “aiming high” pun intended?🤣🤣🤣 a couple of years back one of them washed my mates windshield and we were taking to him and he says he can make up to $500 bucks worth of gold shrappas in one day. I earn 1/5th of that in a day where I work now lol.@PlumBerries
TexChik · F
Take out a hammer and smack your thumb with it ! Now ... get ready and go to work ! That’s enough about being a rapper . 😉
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@TexChik hahaha 🥺 but but I could be the next nwa or something
TexChik · F
@PlumBerries you’ll definitely be motivated to use the language that’s so popular with rappers .

tenente · 100+, M
10 years ago i was depressed and unhappy in my carrier. i quit my nice corporate job, divorced my wife, returned to college and retrained. it took years to get my feet back under me, but blowing up my life and carrier to start over was essential to my happiness. can confirm: worth it.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@tenente that is awesome that you risked so much and it paid off.. much respect
