Ever just wanna quit your job and go a whole different direction in life?

I think i shall quit my job as a social worker at two hospitals despite the great pay and only having to work 4 days a week and only getting a promotion a few months back .... becuase it is time i am true to myself and start a rap career.. yes i feel that is the road for me.

if that dr phil girl can do it, so can i damn it 🤑

I've never heard of a Social Worker making "great pay" before

@Fernie to me its great pay.. it is stable income, pays all my bills and I have extra money.. that is great in my books

@PlumBerries Yes, it IS great. I just have never heard of a social work being paid well. Social workers are one of the most over worked, underpaid, under appreciated workers. Good for you though!

@PlumBerries Most "lousy attitudes" exist because of the low pay, enormous caseloads, very little respect or support. I worked in Social services longer than you've been alive and that's how it was across the board. I think you just lucked out

I didn't get into it for the pay. I love my job and the people I work with. It gets me out of my house and makes me feel like I am doing something worthwhile with my life.. the pay is just a bonus

@PlumBerries I don't know ANYone who ever got into Social work for the pay...they did it for the same reasons you did but were worn down by the powers that be. Again, your situation is unique and you are very fortunate
