i do not know what there dreams are like .. my dog dreams.. he is sleeping and his paws move like he is running and he woffs or a light bark . and he is asleep . so ya i would think cats dream..
senghenydd · M
@markinkansas My late dog was exactly the same, it was obvious she was dreaming, I'd sometimes wake her up, she would look at me strangely. Never found out what she was dreaming about.

@senghenydd one day i am going to record that and later play it back for him.. should record that also.. grin

For one, I'd imagine one of those meetings at least is about managing their humans. XD
dancingtongue · 80-89, M
@Casheyane They wouldn't have meetings. After all they are CAT, Supreme Ruler.

It seems that they do as well as dogs. It seems to be evident when you know your pet is asleep and they make again making noises.

And then when they wake up:

Cats do dream, but I still have no ide awhat about.

All I know is Pantera (my cat, not the band) barks in her sleep for some reason.
senghenydd · M
@TheRealBarbossa Obviously thinking about Dogs
SpectralMourning · 41-45, M
Absolutely....they have REM sleep just like we do. They likely dream what they know. Dreams of eating, playing, and making the area around the litter box a disaster.
SleepingWithGhosts · 46-50, M
It's funny thinking about cats dreaming. I think they do. My cat definitely snores though, lol.

Cats are hyperdimensional creatures so they phase through hyperspace when they dream.
Kiesel · 56-60, M
Probably..
I never can tell when my cat is dreaming
I can with my dog though
ABCDEF7 · M
There's a saying in our area, that means, "A cat sees chunks of flesh in dreams". Means, A person always thinks / dreams what's in their heads most of the times.
AbstractWave · 61-69, M
This is valuable information thanks 😊 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Paige81 · 41-45, F
@AbstractWave you’re welcome. It’s a pleasure to serve the needs of you all.
dirge · M
gaiman had an interesting take on that in 'the sandman'
They probably do dream.
Ferric67 · M

Our cat was sleeping on his cat post shelf, when he started shaking or vibrating. Woke him up to keep him from falling.
I noticed none of them are playing with a laser pointer 🧐🤔
Their dreams are about killing nonstop.
Northwest · M
Sounds accurate.
