Ok so a few years ago, I was really into BF1
(Sounds weird I know) lol And my parents and brothers were all out of the house. I stayed home alone( I have plenty of times before) it was past midnight, I have my mic on and when the map was loading… I hear footsteps on the wooden floor about 10ft from my room. I was so focused on the game that I just thought they came home whatever.. a few minutes later my mom called me and asks if I’m still up and if I wanted some in n out. I was like hell yea…. Then I said “mom I thought you came home minutes ago?” She replies “no we just left the party and we’re gonna stop by and get some food why?”… I get immediate chills as I realize that they weren’t home… so whose footsteps did I hear??
I freaked out. Locked my room and told my parents to hurry!!

It turns out that an old lady owned the house before us… but what they didn’t tell us was that they did a welfare check when she missed several appointments and misses calls.. she was dead and decomposing in the house for 3 weeks before the cops found her.. and she was found dead in my room… 😱

Here’s another (personal experience, about 10 years ago )

So unfortunately, my grandma was at deaths door. 🥺 She was at the hospital with all her kids, grandkids, great grandkids, etc. bedside. She was basically hugging everyone and telling everyone her goodbyes.
When I get near her, I’m sobbing of course. And she tells me “ Alexa” (yes like the Amazon product, no she didn’t like saying my full name ) you have to watch over your mother, never leave her like so many of my children have left me.” “Never forget about her, abandonment is the same as death”
I was shocked, I was like 12 at that time.
My mom stayed by her side, and when we got home, she called us and says that grandma has died. 🥺

Like 2 days later I’m in the backyard playing with some cousins. And I see like a grayish dress near the corner of the house (we had a lot of fruit trees )
I get closer to see what it was and it was her.. my grandma.. I saw her face and everything.. 😱 I was gonna say “Grandma?” But before I could speak she waves goodbye and vanishes

2 of my cousins see this aswell and we run inside and tell everyone
But to this day no one believes us ☹️

Taiping rebellion in China was pretty fucked up, guy fails his exams, has a dream that he's Jesus's brother and starts a cult which led to one of the worst civil wars in history. We're talking about millions of people dying at a time when the earth's population was nowhere as big as it is today. And in China of all places where a disruption in food production plus war means folk die like flies. 1850s - 1860s. Both sides massacred the hell out of everybody. People scare the hell out of me, ghosts, werewolves, vampires I mean they're all living in the shadows, but imagine that, some guy fails his exams, say's he's Jesus and next thing you know people are hacking each other up and wandering off their farms to go join the kingdom of heaven.

When i was a kid.. there is this teenager who died crushed by a train in his way home from other city, since then our village was haunted, his ghost wandering in our village knocking house from house searching for way back home
