I'm not sure that I'm afraid of it anymore.
I'm more concerned about having a heart atrack or a stroke and not dying.

I haven't voted because I'm 100% certain there is life after death and that our God is loving and merciful. I'm not scared of that but what does scare me is leaving my children to survive life without me. Hopefully, God will keep me here long enough for me to see that they will have love and support once I'm gone.

I haven't been afraid of death for decades. I died when I was giving birth to my son and was resuscitated. I don't remember what that was like, but it was nothing i am afraid of.

I think most fear death for two reasons:

It often isn't planned
It may possibly be unbearably painful.

Seems like we're similar...

I'm settled with either and focused on living while I can.

I worry more about those I leave behind. I hope they will be OK.

A long time, I decided not to worry about it. I have no awareness of life before I was born, but I know it's been here all along, and I tend to think that when I expire, my current awareness, will merge with whatever was there before I was born.

But a part of me thinks there's a purpose to life and religion has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Neither of those. Whatever it is , it is. The only thing that scares me is a prolonged period of being a virtual vegetable, with little quality of life. That would be far worse than dying, imho. I've lived a long, remarkable life; experienced and done far more than I ever expected. I have no complaints, whether there is anything after death or not.

I am only concerned about any inconvenience I might cause for those I leave behind..I have taken all the precautions I can, not to be a burden. Arrangements are straightforward, clear and funded..😷

I have a good life, any fear I have is of losing what I know now. I enjoy my life and want to continue enjoying it.
Neither really. I am more scared about what would happen to my daughter. Would she be treated right

BlobbyMcBlobface · 100+, M
It doesn't but being constantly reminded via various forms of media is depressing to say the least.

I'm not afraid of it. When it comes for me, I'll go with grace.
