There's so many different exercises that contain roleplay and it really does depend on the route she takes but the one thing you can expect is becoming the people in your story while still being yourself. It'll help shift perspective

@HijabaDabbaDoo oh okay that’ll be interesting my next session is today I just got out of the hospital over an incident from yesterday I’m not as scared now
HijabaDabbaDoo · F
@MommaBear you could always tell her you're feeling a bit nervous about trying something new and she'll more than likely explain the process better to you.
Hospital? Hope you're okay

It's just a way of learning how to deal with different situations... How to handle them better... You'll be fine 🤗

Playing a role is just another way to keep some distance while addressing a situation. But rest assured it probably will not be anything like SW roleplay.

You'll be expected to show up in character with a well fleshed out back story and be able to provide current stats/gear.

Dungeons and Dragons?
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
@Straylight therapists would likely find themselves in ever higher demand if they went that route

I guess you are going to be given a role and she will take one and act it out.
tobynshorty · 51-55, F

MommaBear · 26-30, F

MommaBear · 26-30, F
@tobynshorty honestly I thought she meant she was going to start throwing hands to act out the scenarios that we are working on 😅
