I Can't Sleep

I have no troubles going to sleep, but if I wake up after 3-4 hours of sleep I just can't get back to sleep :(..... This week I have been up by 3:30-4:30 every morning, then lay in bed til 5:30-6:00 when the alarm goes off. Makes for a long day at work especially in the afternoon. Frustrating!

It sounds like you have insomnia, there are some natural ways you can do and that's like rest your mind before sleep, like a bath with lavender bath safe oils, and then put some cream on your body that contains lavender extracts the skin absorbs this and goes into your blood stream and helps you relax and acts to aid you sleep. Try chamomile tea, don't drink milk coz milk actually keeps you awake. You can place a bag of lavender flowers under the pillow and help you fall asleep. There is also natural supplement like valerian that can help you sleep, but before you buy and take things like natural supplement make sure you ask your doctor or the pharmacist if it's ok if you take other medications for other things. There is also melatonin these are part of the homeopathic range of natural stuff. You can try these or not, I guess anything it worth a try to get some sleep.

Is this still an issue.
Consider your alcohol intake, or processed foods, food that is highly processed with bad fat. In Chinese Medicine, that time of the morning, the qi concentrates in your liver Qi. The liver energy if in weak state, weak balance you will wake up.
Then if you need alcohol in your life, then limit to 1 drink/shoot only. Avoid over eating fake foods, aim for fresh veggies, food from natural source.

Your a light sleeper then, maybe prolong your bed time, sometimes the earlier one sleeps the earlier they wake. Other times people take short or long naps during the day and then they get broken sleep, the average minimum sleep a person should have 8 hrs per day.

Usually go to bed around 10:30, rarely ever nap. But waking up anytime after 3:30 am or so I'm pretty much up. Even if I go to bed later say 12:00 or even 1:00
