Im sorry for your loss

This year marks 16 years since my dad committed suicide and 11 years since I lost my mama. Some days it feels like yesterday.

My mother-in-law, along with her other accomplishments, was a really great cook. After she passed away we put together and printed a cook book with a bunch of her favorite recipes and a bunch of family favorites. The whole thing is sprinkled with pics of food and pics of family. We made a big Word doc and used Blurb.com to print it. You might want to try something like that at some point.

I'm sorry. It's hard. It hurts. There is a hole in your life now, because of the love you shared.

It took me the longest time to delete my parents phone number off my phone even though i knew they were no longer there.

Your Mom made a huge impact in your life that will never be replaced. You'll see her more in yourself than you realize.
