Trying to adapt, small steps…
Changed the phone contact from "Mom & Dad" to "Dad", substituted a song he likes for the ringtone. I still have messages saved so I can hear her voice. Not that I’ll ever forget it in this lifetime. 😞

My mother-in-law, along with her other accomplishments, was a really great cook. After she passed away we put together and printed a cook book with a bunch of her favorite recipes and a bunch of family favorites. The whole thing is sprinkled with pics of food and pics of family. We made a big Word doc and used Blurb.com to print it. You might want to try something like that at some point.
