Very anxious, I'm graduating in a few months and I still really don't know what to do with my life. No plans. No skill. No passion. Hope all works well.
Try to find some kind of path, find a way to make things work. Do not be like some of us who assume "Things will work themselves out some day" because often, "some day" never arrives. Then you end up my age and still working a loser job.
Oh also it should be said - Keep your options open. Do not do things like join the military, don't get married nor have kids, do not get hopelessly in debt, do not get in trouble with the law nor get hooked on drugs...
Basically do not get into any situations you cannot easily get out of.
No one in their twenties knows what to do with their lives. First jobs are exciting, challenging, and scary too. Just look around. Pick a good one. And do it well. Start by forging a great reputation as a hard worker. One who values his career. Be social. Save some money. Take your first pay and buy yourself something great. And be kind. Your co-workers have all started somewhere for the first time too. So they will understand. Ask for help. Be involved. Have fun. Your confidence in life and in your career will improve.
Dont put too much pressure on yourself or panic, you've got time and you need to be sure of what's going to make you most happy going forward in your working life as its for a lot of years so take your time, you've worked hard so just enjoy your life now.
You're not the only one. It's actually insane we just throw teenagers into the world and tell them they have to figure out what they want to do for the rest of their lives by 18 or by the time college ends. Don't worry about it. It takes time to figure stuff out.
@Bumbles idk about other but im mostly anxious because of money, i grew up in a poor country and family that my father have to work abroad to earn decent money, but after my graduation my father will be going home and passing the financial burden to me.
