Calm magnesium is good
Notsimilarreally31-35, F
@Jenny1234 it is. Too much magnesium can be bad for kidney though.
Jenny123451-55, F
@Notsimilarreally why do you think taking Calm magnesium is too much magnesium?
iamonfire69641-45, F
@Jenny1234 I have heard about magnesium but it has to be a certain type.

5-htp helps stabilize your mood over time and it wont kill you.

GABA helps with on the spot with anxiety but dont take it too often just when needed.

Smoke weed.

Deep breathing and focusing on your environment helps me reduce panic attacks.

Being mentally distracted from overthinking with a task you use your hands for

What works for one may not necessarily work for you.

I used to take 5-htp in the winter for seasonal affective disorder but can't any more coz it also contains valerian. So this winter I've just resigned myself to being miserable and grumpy and eating too much 馃檮.

I started making a hot cup of tea every time I get jittery and scared. It's become very soothing to simply take that time. It's not easy when you're a mama to slow down.

Sending love to you 馃枻

I've found OTC stuff doesn't really work for me. What I've actually found works is mindfulness. It takes hard work and practice, but my anxiety is way less than before.
There's an app that's free that I recommend and it's also ad free.
MethDozerM
Marijuana, whiskey and nicotine
Notsimilarreally31-35, F
@MethDozer I can't handle my whiskey like a responsible person and my brain can't handle the pot these days. But I fucking wish. It was nice when it didn't matter that I couldn't handle the booze, and when the pot actually helped.

@DarlingSelah Panic attacks, pretty much everything that goes along with that. Being overwhelmed with things to do and having a mental meltdown over is every few days. Benzodiazepines would be fabulous and perfect but the doctor I'm seeing is careful about that and doesn't want to get me addicted. Lame. I'm trying to find a benzodiazepine replacement that isn't alcohol, etc. Wishful thinking probably but...never hurts to ask SW
