I've come to the conclusion I'm absolutely done for.

Lease is up soon, no money at all for another cheaper place or moving. No money for rent this month. Very low gas, interviews far and few in between everything is drying up. I'm just going to pack up what I can stash it into my car and bounce before rent is due. Stinks because the car isn't very big but it's all I can really do right now. It's this or offing myself which kind of failed a few nights ago driving in the snow super tired where I almost hit a lane divider. Shouldn't have swerved looking back at it now.

Let me tell you something my friend. In 2023, I did almost die for real. I had a bad mitral valve that needed to be replaced in my heart, and I was in congestive heart failure. I was only 45 years old and they just told me about a birth defect that was potentially going to kill me if I didn't get it replaced. My open-heart surgery to replace my valve gave me a fifty fifty chance of survival. But I did it. I went through with it because I wanted to live. Then, two months after my surgery, a blood clot went from my heart to my brain which caused me to have a stroke. I have a hard time memorizing numbers and dates and such still today, but I survived because I wanted to live. There are so many things out there worth living for, much more than money or a job. You can always find those. Never give up hope. Fight, my friend, fight for what you want in live. And your life means something.
Are you still able to do interviews during all that? Also check to see what resources the city offers as in government assistance and programs as well as local shelters. I know it's not an ideal life. But if you can get ahead of what your needs are going to be then maybe things will be that much better before they hit.
I want you to take care of yourself. Others have lived through harsh times and conditions. And I think many of us here care that you do well.

Running out of money is not the same thing as running out of worth, Buddy.

A lease ending is not your life ending..

A small car can still carry a very strong soul Id say.

You swerved.

That matters more than you realize.

Right now your only job isn’t to solve everything... it’s to survive this week....one day....one hour if you have to.

Think positive damnit..

😣..🫲🏻...bap!

Giving up is never the answer. Living in your car sucks, but it's better than living on the street. When you swerved that means you really didn't want to end it. One good thing about living in your car is that you can leave town. Go somewhere else looking for a job. I will definitely be praying for you 🙏🙏🙏

Definitely let them know that you are out of work and broke so you are leaving. Otherwise you may wind up with legal fees. Most landlords will work with you if you just talk to them sooner than later.
How much will you owe?
