My doctor was concerned when I had that problem, but it turned out a change in meds solved the swelling. You need to get it checked.
Better start taking care of your arteries. They may be blocked and that's why you're swelling up but definitely by consuming too much salt, your legs and ankles will definitely swell, plus it will raise your blood pressure. Please try to get this under control.

That's serious, your feet shouldn't be swollen like that, you could have a heart attack. You need to get it checked asap.

@separatetheheart And not even one, of the three of you, have ever gotten it checked? You guys all have a deatheish or something? xD
separatetheheart · 31-35, M
@Nightwings my mom had a heart attack a few years ago. My brother has not gotten it looked at and me neither because it doesn't happen much
Nightwings · 31-35, F
@separatetheheart I'm sorry that happened to your mom. You and your brother must take it seriously as well, because even if it doesn't happen often, assuming you're average weight, moderately active, it is very strange that this happens to you in your age at all. Maybe this happens to a lesser degree, to someone in his 60s, it's to be expected, but it seems that you and your brother have inhereted your mother's weak heart. You both need to have your hearts properly looked at, or you could die already in your early 50s.

You may have high blood pressure.
It isn't normal unless there is some underlying condition.
You need to call the doctor and get checked out.

Kind of young for that. Circulation issues?
separatetheheart · 31-35, M
@TrunkZ This has happened off and on since I was a teenager

Can you cut back on the salts?
separatetheheart · 31-35, M
@YoMomma I'm drinking a ton of water and staying away from chips

@separatetheheart ok ☺

No that isn't normal go to the doctor
RoxClymer · 41-45, M
sounds like you have heart a/o kidney issues
separatetheheart · 31-35, M
@RoxClymer Heart issues wouldn't shock me. They run rampant on my moms side. She and my two uncles all had heart attacks, my grandpa died of one.

Yes, if you're in a humid climate.

cut the sodium or prepare for a heart attack
