Hey are you bad with passwords?

I have the worst luck with keeping my passwords accurate to log in to sites. It’s so frustrating and today has been the worst.

Your password for everything should simply be

Incorrect

That way you always know what it is
Monday40 · 51-55, F
@Madmonk absolutely!

reubles · 41-45, M
A little password notepad really helps
Monday40 · 51-55, F
@reubles I might start doing that.
fun4us2b · M
@reubles Brilliant minds....
reubles · 41-45, M
@fun4us2b *nods in agreement*

I only have 4 passwords
@2ndtimeguy You must not have many sites and apps you access. If you use the same passwords for a lot of different things, isn't that a little dangerous?

I have 55 different passwords for the same number of sites and apps.
Foodie60 · 31-35, M
I change my password to email everytime I login because I tend to forget each time
Monday40 · 51-55, F
@Foodie60 same
MoodysGoose · 51-55, M
are you kidding? Im practically an expert when it comes to passwords. First, my password is always the same ☺ " password" , get it? 🤷‍♂ Genius , right? I know 🤯 Even i can't believe i came up with it, and i was there when i did 🤷‍♂ It's so easy to remember, and no one would ever expect someone to use " password" as their password, so it's perfect ☺👌 on a scale of 1-10, how impressed are you ? 😏
Monday40 · 51-55, F
@MoodysGoose very much and I even like you😂
MoodysGoose · 51-55, M
@Monday40 just for that, im gonna share my password with you, but you cant tell anyone what it is , k?
Kiesel · 56-60, M
I keep a journal of them all in a notebook and keep it in a fireproof safe

You should use your browser's built-in features. Set it to synchronize your password to your cloud accounts, and you'll never have to type a password again. In fact, you should not type a password again.

Syncrhonizing allows you to change your passwords often, and to use passwords impossible to memorize. It also synchronizes with all your devices (phone, etc).

Do not write your passwords down.
there's an app for that
@CookieCrisp She lost the password to the app.
@Motzu face id
Monday40 · 51-55, F
@CookieCrisp I am on Ipad and I have used fingerprint and face but it’s new to me. I am good with passkey which I really like but it is only for getting into this thing.
FloorGenAdm · 51-55, M
I refuse to believe this is MY fault!
Not at all. I keep all my passwords written down on two sheets of paper. I have a different password for everything. There are too many for me to keep them all memorized.
Zaphod42 · 51-55, M
Nope! I use “Password1234!” For everything so I never forget 😁

Or was it “1234Password!”… 🤔

Damn it… 🤦‍♂
@Zaphod42 Gosh, can I have your credit card number, too?
Zaphod42 · 51-55, M
@PhoenixPhail No! I’ll never reveal that it’s 8723-5528-1922-5612 😉
@Zaphod42 Now, the CVV code, and I'll be all set. 😃
Foodie60 · 31-35, M
I reset my email password every single time k login because I never remember it . Same is the case with other accounts such as Netflix etc
DrWatson · 70-79, M
For sites I go to only occasionally, I regularly click on "Forgot password?"

Sometimes I don't even bother to try one first!
Google Chrome saves them for me and auto-fills them in.
@MsSwan I don't trust the auto-fills and password managers. I think those things are hackable.
4meAndyou · F
@MsSwan Same here!
I'm horrible with them, but my password manager is fairly good with them.
Monday40 · 51-55, F
@NerdyPotato my password manager can’t keep up with me h🤣
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Get a password manager.
496sbc · 36-40, M
Yes very bad
OldBrit · 61-69, M
You could use a password manager.

I personally don't but know plenty who do who I've suggested it to and swear by it. NordPass is very good or 1Password .
robb65 · 56-60, M
I have a short list and they are mostly related so not hard to remember. It's just a matter of remembering which accounts get the extra letters/numbers added.
I'd say get keepass (or one of the variants), you can run it on most any OS or phone. strong passwords, it can even run on your phone.
Monday40 · 51-55, F
@stound I have IPad and I am still working out all the kinks
4meAndyou · F
I keep a password notebook. It's similar to an address book, and it helps me immeasurably.
Elisbch · M
Send me your list and I'll be sure it's safe forever! 🤷..LOL 🤣😄

I use an encrypted app for mine.
Ambroseguy80 · 56-60, M
I thought I was bad with passwords…

But apparently I am not. 😂
Ontheroad · M
I have a written list of the ones I most often use.
Monday40 · 51-55, F
@Ontheroad I have to do that.👍
deadgerbil · 26-30
I have a couple of passwords that are my default. I usually just save them to chrome and I also use their auto generated password feature too since I'm lazy
Monday40 · 51-55, F
@deadgerbil I use that also (strong one) but its never the same. I’m lazy too🤓
meJess · F
I always use incorrect, that way if I forget the website reminds me
I used to terrible but I learned my lesson. It helps when you sign in more regularly too.
Lilnonames · F
On this site it's easy as its

You are blocked lol
