Atheism works in mysterious ways.
BlueSkyKing · M
Name an ethical statement or action, made or performed by a person of faith, that could not have been made or performed by a nonbeliever.

@BlueSkyKing praying
BlueSkyKing · M
@IndigoSavage Ethical? Prayer is akin to spell casting.

It's difficult to maintain my happiness when Jesus died for my sins.
So I'll ignore Jesus for the summer...

Does a shining Sun and happy people make you want to change your religious beliefs?
IndigoSavage · 22-25, F
@Jenny1234 I feel closer to God when I'm sunbathing
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@IndigoSavage how does sunbathing have that affect on you?
22Michelle · 61-69, T
What's to maintain? We just deal with facts, so nothing changes due to weather.

How does this work for Atheists in the Southern Hemisphere?
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
I don't see the connection. I'm mostly happy all the time and I'm an atheist. I think what your are trying to say is that atheists must be unhappy so during the summer when it's nice out how could we be happy and atheist at the same time?
MrAverage1965 · 61-69, M
No because countries are still being invaded, people are being killed in their homes. People are suffering the world over in so many ways. Inequality continues to exist and is in all likelihood growing.

We could ask the same of those who create the living hell, known as the Gaza Strip

@IndigoSavage 🤔i would say more at christmas and easter time lol 😆
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@smiler2012 You would be wrong.
smiler2012 · 56-60
@LordShadowfire 🤔how can you celebrate the coming and death of somebody who think never existed
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@smiler2012 Who says atheists celebrate Easter and Christmas? And even if they celebrate the holidays, they've been around since long before Christianity. Jesus wasn't even born in the winter.
Beth35 · 36-40, F
I believe that atheists don't have to talk about atheism or religion - there is no reason for that.
NerdyPotato · M
Why would it? 🤔
IndigoSavage · 22-25, F
@NerdyPotato because sunlight makes people happy. So it might make it harder to keep doing Atheism during the summer months I bet it's easy again once winter comes around
NerdyPotato · M
@IndigoSavage why would being happy make it harder to accept evidence?

Have you tried Zen?
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
No. Why should that matter?

Everybody ?
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
I’m actually surprised I don’t see more atheists posting on here
22Michelle · 61-69, T
@Moneyonmymind We're all over this site. We just don't feel the need to tell everyone we believe in evidence, facts and science.
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@22Michelle i meant posting about religion, I know y’all are on the site.
