@Pikachu Actually the definition of an agnostic is the indifference or absence of firm beliefs in Theistic religions and Atheism so you don't have to label yourself an [i]atheist [/i]agnostic, because it would mean you don't believe in a god, when in fact there's no way of knowing whether one exists or not

Atheist/theist is a description of a belief that a god does or does not exist.
I don't believe that a god exists, in fact i am convinced that one doesn't so i am an atheist.
I don't know that a god doesn't exist nor do i think it is possible to know so i am agnostic.

1. Where did you originally read so much of the bible? Did that emerge from a chapter in your past?
2. Why do you expend so much energy on a topic that you don't think exists?( eg, I don't spend a lot of time on attempting to confound flat-earthers as I'm not bothered what they believe. I gave up trying to talk reason and evidence with conspiracy theorists because it's mostly a fruitless exercise.)

1) I originally read so much of the Bible by reading the Bible cover to cover twice. My Brother was born again and wanted me to read it.
2) I expend very little energy overall on this topic but that which i do expend is because i enjoy the discussion and/or because i find the associated world views worth contesting.

@BobbyMoeven Recognising the limits of what we can prove isn't waffling, it's wise. Too many atheists and Christians on here think they can prove something that really only demonstrates they aren't high level thinkers. And that statement is not a criticism of either atheism or Christianity.
