Belief Follows Truth

Science still points to God and confirms His Word to be true. No amount of disbelief can change it.

How does science point to God if there's always zero evidence for God?

Oh, it's Ken Ham: the mentally ill guy who thinks dinosaurs made lemonade for Adam and Eve.

@SW-User
Anyone that believes in God is religious
Not according to His Word.

@GodSpeed63 Your interpretation of what a being not successfully shown to exist might have said isn't the deciding factor. Belief in afterlife caused by any agency best defines religion, and this can be a religion of one or many. Secular belief doesn't exclude you from being religious.

As quoted by the Christian religion, right ?

Isn't this the goof who rebuilt what they think is Noah's Ark and turned it into an amusement park for Evangelicals? 😖
@Abbenthewarwolf

...so what was the flood and what then is meant by pairs of each kind?
spjennifer · 56-60, T
@MrSimons Yeah, it's entirely possible that those regions were different millions of years ago, not much tectonic shift to that extent in the last 6-10,000 years. I seriously doubt that either the Platypus or the Polar bears were capable of swimming thousands of miles to get to the Middle East. perhaps they were teleported there by aliens??? 👽
MrSimons · 41-45, M
@spjennifer Well, a few things there.

Young earth creationists don't believe in an Earth that is billions of years old, so they wouldn't accept your appeal to what you think things were like millions of years ago.

As I already said, the argument is that Noah wouldn't have to collect every variety of bear. One variety would count as one "kind."

You are assuming again that Australia existed as it does now and that all of the animals who live there now, did so then. I have seen it argued that the climate was somewhat constant throughout the Earth prior to the flood, so maybe platypuses wouldn't have needed to swim that far after all. They may have existed nearer to where Noah was located.

I also imagine that YECs would also not so easily dismiss the possibility of divine intervention in these matters, which not unreasonable within a theistic worldview.
Ken Ham (3:30): "We have the laws of nature that have been the same in the past and we assume will be the same in the future."

So...Would that include the laws of radioactive decay?
Because that means in order to achieve the levels of daughter material that we observe and if the laws of physics have always worked in the same way, the amount of energy that would be released from all that radioactive decay would, if compressed into 6,000 years vaporize the granitic crust of the earth and boil the oceans many times over.

Ken Ham proved his own position wrong in the first 3 minutes.
Cool.😎✌️

@GodSpeed63

Radioactive decay law: N = N.e-λt
The radioactive decay law states that “The probability per unit time that a nucleus will decay is a constant, independent of time”

THAT is the physics of radioactive decay. It is observed, measurable and consistent and it presents a problem so insurmountable to a young earth that even Answers in Genesis have admitted that they cannot solve this problem.
Answers in Genesis: KEN HAM's OWN ORGANISAZTION admits that they cannot solve this problem at the present time.
That's what your world views demand, Pikachu, not physics..
Big talk. Let's see you back it up. Go ahead and explain for the class the factual, scientific errors i made in my description of radioactive decay law and the problem it presents for a young earth worldview.

@Pikachu
Radioactive decay law: N = N.e-λt
The radioactive decay law: N = N.e-λt is no good and unreliable, you know it is, Pikachu. Deal with it.

Ken Ham’s Ark Encounter is the best evidence against the flood there is.
Even he can’t make it float.

@whowasthatmaskedman
I’ve seen him lecturing to ten year olds, telling them that science and scientists are against god. I’ve seen him lie, rather than admit evolution is even possible. It’s even stated in his Ark Encounter, that scientist are out to destroy faith in god.

@DocSavage That doesnt mean we have to be as ignorant as the other side. The fact is that the Placebo effect works.. And the power of positive thinking works. And meditation works. Just not always, not in all situations and not on all people.. But if a person chooses to use faith as the gateway to those things, they should be allowed to do so unmolested. If you dont, then we are no better than them.. We do need to be better than them..😷

Ken Ham is of the belief that we should be ignorant of the other side
He literally preaches willful ignorance, and encourages in others, especially children, before their old enough to even understand what they’re being told. We are better than him, in regards to being honest .

Decided to bring back the lame ass video in a feeble attempt to boost your credibility ? I
Failed again. Kenny was a bad choice.
