Belief Follows Truth

[media=https://youtu.be/fL-EeTVcAnk]

Science still points to God and confirms His Word to be true. No amount of disbelief can change it.

Ken Ham (3:30): "We have the laws of nature that have been the same in the past and we assume will be the same in the future."

So...Would that include the laws of radioactive decay?
Because that means in order to achieve the levels of daughter material that we observe and if the laws of physics have always worked in the same way, the amount of energy that would be released from all that radioactive decay would, if compressed into 6,000 years vaporize the granitic crust of the earth and boil the oceans many times over.

Ken Ham proved his own position wrong in the first 3 minutes.
Cool.😎✌️

Where did those laws come from, Pikachu?
@GodSpeed63

Whee did those laws come from

Let's say for the sake of this argument that they came from god, they still make a 6,000 year old earth impossible. So did god make laws that are the same today as they were in the past or did he not?

Not a chance. According to His Word, the earth is still young.

Has the natural law of radioactive decay changed?

Has the natural law of radioactive decay changed?

No, only your world view needs to change from lie to truth.
@GodSpeed63

If physics have not changed, how do you explain the following?

No

1) If the law of radioactive decay has been working in the same way all along then by direct measurement, we know the half life of many radioactive isotopes.
With your answer of "No", you've now agreed to that.

2) Since we know the rate at which these isotopes decay, we know how much energy must be released in order to achieve the levels of decay we observe in our world at this time.

3) That energy is inconsequential when spread out over billions of years but if that same amount of energy must be released in only 6,000 years then the natural law of radioactive decay dictates that such a compression of energy would vaporize the granitic crust of the earth and boil the oceans several times over.

That's what physics demands. If physics have not changed, how do you explain this?

That's what your world views demand, Pikachu, not physics.
@GodSpeed63

Radioactive decay law: N = N.e-λt
The radioactive decay law states that “The probability per unit time that a nucleus will decay is a constant, independent of time”

THAT is the physics of radioactive decay. It is observed, measurable and consistent and it presents a problem so insurmountable to a young earth that even Answers in Genesis have admitted that they cannot solve this problem.
Answers in Genesis: KEN HAM's OWN ORGANISAZTION admits that they cannot solve this problem at the present time.

That's what your world views demand, Pikachu, not physics..

Big talk. Let's see you back it up. Go ahead and explain for the class the factual, scientific errors i made in my description of radioactive decay law and the problem it presents for a young earth worldview.

Radioactive decay law: N = N.e-λt

The radioactive decay law: N = N.e-λt is no good and unreliable, you know it is, Pikachu. Deal with it.
