A totally accurate representation of Noah and his family taking care of between 2 and 7 of every "kind" of animal on Earth...

@Pikachu Yep, that exact one, my question to those Ark true believers is always how did Noah get to the Arctic to get Polar bears and to Australia to get Kangaroo's when they didn't even know those places existed then???

All i did was point out that at a modern center it takes a large team of zookeepers to take care of a tiny fraction of the animals that were apparently on the ark being taken care of by a handful of people.

I am not saying I agree with their position but I think that they could counter that Noah only had to collect every "kind" of each animal. He wouldn't need to collect every variety of bear (the polar bear and brown grisly bear are essentially the same animal). They might also point out that the earth may not have been of the same layout prior to the global flood.

@spjennifer It's definitely on my list of interesting places to visit.

@MrSimons Fair enough point but the Kangaroo and Platypus are their own species and certainly weren't collected by Noah in Australia so how are those explained away?

@spjennifer I imagine they may appeal to the idea that the layout of the earth was different from how it is today. They would point out that your argument assumes that there were icy polar regions and the continent of Australia as we know them today. I have also seen it argued that Noah was not told to collect the animals but rather simply receive the animals when they arrived, appealing to Genesis 6:19-20. The implication is that God drew the animals to the ark.
