On a scale of 0 to 10 how stressed out are you?

What's making you feel stressed?

Personally, I feel like I'm close to replying '11' 😭
My house is a mess, I'm so busy with our kid while my husband is working abroad for another couple of days. I have to take him to day camp and back which is an hour drive altogether, cook when I get home, think about where and when to buy bread to make his lunch, all trying to combine it with working overtime at work, and my colleague the HR Manager just resigned after working here for 3 months 😭 I'm supposed to go on holiday next week and everyone is already panicking and asking me who will be the back up. Well guess what, there is none XD We have 3 people starting up during my holiday, one from another country where the payroll still needs to be set up in detail, one with a work permit that is also still ongoing for feedback, and one where I still need to arrange perks for. My boss can't decide upon which laptop to buy 😅 just kill me now haha XD
I need a holiday, but I can't afford it work-wise. If I go on holiday now, I'll just be stressed about it all as well when I'm not doing anything to solve it 😭

I am stressed. Everyone in my family has disowned me and now I need to slowly rebuild each relationhip and I am trying to pack and move.

@SweetMae I’m sorry

@SweetMae we will never disown you Mae
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@Ferric67 Thank you. I appreciate you saying that.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
1-2. I’m pretty centered and resilient. Not much bothers me externally. Internally, the mind races, but it’s manageable.
PerfectionOfTheHeart · 46-50, F
Don’t like acknowledging it, but I’m a solid 8…sometimes a 9 these days. But truth be told that number’s been high all year. I’m very much in a it is what it is state just so I can preserve my sanity.

Hope things settle for you soon.
Yulianna · 22-25, F
🤔... well, where shall i start?
kimmy159 · F
@Yulianna At the beginning? :D
Yulianna · 22-25, F
@kimmy159 🤔... 😂😂😂
Work related stress is a solid 9-10 here as well. I wish I could resign but a lot is dependent upon me, so I’m just trying to take it one day at a time.

Can’t you carpool your kid with some other day camper? Or ask a friend to help. It’ll give you some breather…🤗
😅 Omg!!! This is what has been happening with me since June…are we the same person?!?! 🤪@kimmy159
kimmy159 · F
@Vivaci Guess what! My boss replied that he understands the issues I’ve raised and he wants to talk about them tomorrow :0 fingers crossed!
That’s hopeful. Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🤗

I told my director that I’m taking a long vacay once this is over…and he also agreed. Thank goodness. @kimmy159

I'm as close as you can get to a zero, literally pisses off people that I'm so calm and mellow.
Ferric67 · M
@kimmy159 1) sleep 2) dietary habits 3) physical activity/exercise

Make time for you. If you get quality sleep, your body is recalibrate the way it likes. If you eat the right things, in the right quality at the right time....your body will be in its best position to optimally function. Exercise burns off nervous energy.
kimmy159 · F
@Ferric67 Aghhh I should've known the secret would be hidden in all the things I struggle doing XD I do love to sleep though, it's just that I don't get enough of it, partly because of me, and partly because of my toddler :p
Ferric67 · M
@kimmy159 quality sleep is huge. Length isn't the lone determinant to quality. You need all parts of your sleep cycle, you need to wake up at the point of the completion of the cycle too (hence, why sleep length alone isn't the absolute answer here).

I should be a two….but I worry bout everything. Its self induced stressed. Years working in a stressfull environment just waiting for things to go wrong. Now I can’t shake it
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
I'd say my stress is medium level right now. It's been worse so I feel like I can't complain, but it does exist.
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
13.

I'm scared and nervous. There's a lot I'm worried about but I can't talk about it.
kimmy159 · F
@Beatbox34 How come you can’t talk about it? Maybe it can lessen some of the stress :0 I also hope things will get better for you :-))
Magenta · F
Currently about a 2, thankfully. I tend to stress easily.

I hope things mellow some for you soon.

@Darksideinthenight2 high stress levels are often because of multiple situations combined, hope your other issue gets solved soon ^^ may seem more likely maybe than work situations suddenly getting much better 😅
Lol how generous of you 😂
