I have peace and happiness. My home is my own. Go to bed when I want. Eat when I want. Get up when I want. Freedom. Play music at whatever volume I want, anytime. Freedom sings!
What did I enjoy about being single? Lots! More time with your friends. Out drinking, dancing, talking to boys, going out for meals, listening to music, watching movies etc....
What I didn't like was having someone you really liked and not knowing how to ask them out...and wanting to be, effectively, 'non-single' with them!
Doing what I want, when I want it. Not being nagged to clean the apartament, Eat junk when I want and how much I want. Having "solosex" when ever my mood decides, not needing to negitiate terms.
Not being gross and predictabe like some creature from a primordial swamp. Seeking some higher meaning in life asside from money and sex. That's the best part.
@PoetryNEmotion well, I went to a Buddhist temple yesterday. The name of the monastery is called Chuang Yen. A real pretty campus not that far north if New York City. How about you? How was your weekend?
Since I am no longer with the ex, I think fairly often about how intolerant he would be if he knew me now. I am always coughing or clearing my throat and blowing my nose, and that would have driven him right up the wall. He never could stand little noises.
You don't have to tell anyone to put the dirty clothes in laundry area, nobody to ask to put the dirty dishes away and not even asking every time where is the damn key this time 😄 You would know it all coz you are single, you know what's what and what's where.
