That's cool. Likewise I often hear that I have 'that' kind of voice, like a reporter on the nightly news. I would have preferred - the weatherman.

@LadyBronte well it's kinda freeing to have short hair.. and don't have to detangle it constantly either lol years ago i kept my hair up in a bun all the time but the past few years i didn't .. i guess my hair was going everywhere and he didn't like it some places .. but also i wanted bangs again so i went ahead and chopped it

I don't get very many compliments honestly! Not directly anyway. And my social life is in the toilet.

At work I find it a compliment everytime someone takes my advice :) So in that case, it warms my heart when my words are useful and worth attention. And it seems to keep happening so I think I'm either quite competent or agreeably cautious.

I had some compliments about my weight recently dropping 16kg. That was different.

When I shake hands or hold hands people tell me I have very soft hands. My aunt use to say it's bc I'm not a hard worker 😂. I always thought most women have soft hands... it's not that unusual but I get that compliment a lot.

@SirLirkALot Some struggle to lose weight - a couple of my siblings did - so I am very cognizant that it is a huge compliment for some people. I would take it and be happy - I'm sure the added, but maybe unspoken sentiment is, you look good. 😊

@BrandNewMan Women probably do get more compluments than men. Some contrived, some genuine. Difficult to tell which sometimes but one being repeated by many, seems to make it a thing.
