Make Adam use a condom when he banged eve lol
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Court69 yeah like the world needs more Adams! 😅
KaiserSolze · 46-50, F
@Court69 that'd solve all the problems lol

seaglass · F
Whatever defining event that led to the industrial age and the machines of war. We wouldn't be talking rn, though. We'd be outside breathing fresh air under an intact ozone layer.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@SomeMichGuy i didnt by in any way mean you won the discussion. I'm not that crass..lol
@seaglass Well, modern wood stoves use blowers to make much more complete combustion, which results in a lot less ash, etc.

So your real point isn't about a specific event as much as you want to change how people view the planet, and realize their actions have consequences.

In that case, remove gunpowder, and let the native Americans be the explorers and bring the ideas of cooperative society to the Europeans.

Columbus' discovery was a proof that competition with gunpowder backing is stronger than cooperation.

You want wisdom, cooperation, sustainability all built in.

Instead of changing the past, let's change now.
seaglass · F
@SomeMichGuy Let's change both 😌
KaiserSolze · 46-50, F
I'd want Reagan to loose so the other guy got in and America had universally free healthcare.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@KaiserSolze I was gonna mention Reagan too thanks for mentioning them
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@KaiserSolze fair enough!👍

AlittleBitGenX · 46-50, F
I would keep JFK from being assassinated. How would that sliding door have changed our history?
@AlittleBitGenX I often wonder what would’ve happened if RFK hadn’t been assassinated…
Court69 · M
@bijouxbroussard Marilyn Monroe would have gotten knocked up for sure lol
@Court69 🙄
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
I fear humans are such hateful little wieners that changing one event wouldn't do anything. Something else bad would happen. Probably worse then before.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Thevy29 good point..👍
tallpowerhouseblonde · 36-40, F
Prevent Archduke Ferdinand from being assassinated.This would mean world war one would never happen and world war 2, primary caused as a result of the armistice conditions at the end of world war one, would not take place either.
Coldplay · 61-69, M
Save Abraham Lincoln
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Coldplay okay and for what purpose.
Coldplay · 61-69, M
@Primnproper the healing post-Civil War and the way the former slaves were treated. The second reason the most important.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Coldplay gotcha! Thank you for elaborating.
blackarcher256 · 61-69, M
Hitler coming to power.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@blackarcher256 yes that’s a definite one!👍

@SW-User 🤣 I like it, yes
ABCDEF7 · M
Stop Big Bang from happening.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@ABCDEF7 if I wanted to seriously read into this, what would you suggest being the best books to look for as I find it extremely interesting.
ABCDEF7 · M
@Primnproper I hope you would enjoy the scene of Shashrartha described by the orator.

As I am not that much into the book reading, it's difficult for me to suggest books. And this all is very much vast and may need many books to get a whole picture. I would try to go through few genuine authors to find appropriate books for you. It would be easier for me, if you can share what aspect/topics you want to focus.

Have you read Shrimad Bhagwat Gita ?
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@ABCDEF7 no but i shall look into it all..👍
Iwillwait · M
Not sure History should be meddled with, since we are living in God's Will.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Iwillwait hypothetically of course.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Me not having a witty comment for this question. That`s historic. 😬
Primnproper · 56-60, F

Both the World wars
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Fertilization i understand..
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
I wish the US (and the rest of the west) and the USSR would have become strong allies after WW2 instead of seeing each other as existential threats. I think World War 2 was kind of an important maturing point for the possibility of peace. I think trying to prevent it would only cause other war at another time.

As allies, a lot of the various proxy wars would not have happened. Not seeing each other as ideological threats would mean more collaboration and trade between the entities. The economic warfare between the two sides would not have happened and we could better see the economic models play out to their more natural conclusions.

I think it would have set us up for an even more peaceful world today and possibly a real chance at a united global federation at some point. (Let's get that precursor to Starfleet going already)
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@ViciDraco great answer, thanks..👍
Patriot96 · 56-60, C
@ViciDraco nice shallow thinking
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
@Patriot96 It was difficult to think of anything, honestly, with the number of unknown consequences that could stack up. What makes you label mine as shallow thinking as opposed to "having the Hitler assassination succeed"?
WWI, although being a twin would have been cool. Imagine two of me running amok 😎
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@BeefySenpie double trouble…🤔😁
SW-User
Hey prim..I'm just here to thank you because I'm too broke to return a thank you gift😂. Thank you 😊

@SW-User you're most welcome..have a great day!
ffony · M
The 1916 Paris "Peace Accord"
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@ffony why is that?
ffony · M
@Primnproper LLoyd George, Wilson and Clemençeau arbitrarily divided post WW1 Europe into countries (within borders that mostly persist to this day,) but with little or no regard to the mixture of ethnic & cultural antagonisms that would have to co-exist within those borders; or, failing that, would try to forcibly rerrange them in the name of sovereignty (political/ethnic/tribal.).

Sorry I haven't done well in trying to make a clear statement !
The civil war. If the USA had ended slavery with a vote that huge war machine might not exist.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Roundandroundwego quite possibly.
DrWatson · 70-79, M
I would keep Mr. and Mrs. Hitler apart on the night Adolph would have been conceived.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@DrWatson 🤣🤣 absolutely!
IM5688 · 61-69, M
Changing one historic event would change history altogether from that moment on. Kind of like in the Back To The Future movie trilogy. Change one event from the past and it changes events of the future.
The Transatlantic Slave Trade.

@bijouxbroussard definitely..

@wildbill83 Why would that be?
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@Primnproper without them, no communist manifesto, no Vladimir Lenin, Mao Zedong, Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot, Fidel Castro, etc.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@wildbill83 understood 👍

Super good Question

Everyone here already answered the important answers

There are so many different things I wish I could prevent … ugh so many bad things 😒

I’ll pick one and go with the plastic fantastic trends’

The pumped up lips and butts … the obsession over looks thing
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@Felina yes thats definitely got out of control. Fake seems to be the thing nowadays.Filters annoy me. If you're going to post a picture do it naturally and stop messing about with it.
