This is a major issue for me. I was under narcissistic and sadistic abuse for 20+ years , daily, and it absolutely messed my mind. I doubt EVERYTHING I do or say. I had to begin reading about narcissism in depth years ago to try to understand my anxiety disorder. They want you to question everything about yourself, so THEY can always be IN CONTROL. But my own parent alluded to that I should barely even have a right to be ALIvE, never mind just that I shouldn't trust my own decisions. It was horrible and a nightmare, and I don't date at all b/c of how tainted and broken I feel. I have read the narcissist makes you doubt everything..and that is pure TRUTH. How do I come out of this though? people say do what you love and then you will see you are capable. WEll that is true to a point but what about all the hundreds of things we do that we don't love.... I question literally all I do or say. I was always 'bad' , 'wrong'.. always , EVEN if someone wronged me as a kid, she would blame ME. It was torture.

Not that all my relationships were good but I never doubted my decisions on starting one if I really wanted to start a relationship … I just knew that right or wrong, I’d take responsibility for them decisions …

When it comes to making decisions I’m extremely analytical so no questioning my judgement. However, when it comes to relationships or a new partner I worry a decision will be made out of desperation.

Yup! Not so much with partners, I don't put up with anything anymore. But in my personal life, like decisions that will impact my son, some I feel like I'll never even know if there's a right choice.

I'm starting to question it regarding things I buy. It seems okay at first but then it turns out so wrong... I don't know anymore.

I always analyze things to death 🤦‍♂️. lol
But once my minds made up, I stick and stand by the decission 😀

But prior to that, I would have been better off if I had questioned my judgment more often!

I make every decision I do with the best information I can find. If I am wrong, I can correct it. I also confirm with an experienced staff member at work or a mental health professional for life decisions. I read to make sure I can do as much as I can with a solid foundation so I don't need to consult.

Doubt for me is not the anxiety that comes with making a wrong decision, it is the fallback plan I have needing to be created. :3 I don't mind being wrong cuz I'll be wrong plenty of times.

If it's meeting new partners, that's complicated. I know it probably could work out but I don't like making the first move. I know I'm awesome but partnership is a very rare thought for me. If it's not bought up by someone else, we need to spend a lot of time together before the idea forms in my mind.

I never allow an initial physical attraction to decide my actions as I have trouble with bodies affecting my judgement. Basicly, if a woman can hold a deep personal conversation with me, I will do my best to keep them close and set up communication.

Once in a while, I question it, but for the most part, I trust my own judgement

I'm my own worst enemy. So no I don't trust my judgement in many aspects of my life.

Ever since brain surgery im very unsure of decision making. However even prior i always ask my 'elders' for advice. Especially big decisions.

It fluctuates.

When I make a decision, I stick with it. I am confident in my ability to find solutions. I have yet to meet and to make a new partner.

I can never make up my mind. It makes for long work e-mails where I explore all options. Managers just want a yes/no answer.

No woman has ever been interested in me, so if one were, I would not know what to do.
