I'm experiencing some grief pretty heavily and not wanting to allow myself grace for it because we didn't have that pet that long.

Not that I wouldn't meet someone else in my shoes with more empathy and compassion than I am willing to give to myself.

I just can't shake the "What if"s that maybe I didn’t do all I could have soon enough. That the poor kitten could've somehow been saved if I had just taken action earlier. That this was preventable and his death is in part my fault. I keep failing to accepy that no matter what I did or didn't do, it wouldn't have changed the final diagnosis. Nothing I did made that kitty sick. There's no telling if any of the 3 rescues we never called because it was after hours even had the black market medicine. What if the vet was wrong.

My biggest issue is that the guy who is responsible for reporting forgets something new each month, so last month had one bit of information missing or inaccurate, my colleagues and I support him, explain what is wrong, to be fair he fixes it the next month but a new problem arises.

Today he's taken a charge that he makes every month and has done correctly every month and now put it on a separate report, meaning I have to go back in and fix his errors as it's quicker than waiting for him to correct....🙈

It's mud season in New England (northeast USA for you non Americans) and, well, I have to drive through serious mud to get to and from my house. Quite an inconvenience.

Roadworks crew clipped my Amazon parcel at curb with steam roller. It's now a permanent part of our
cul-de-sac.

Today was really not terrible. My procrastination was my biggest problem today. Still is, since I am here with you! Could have been worse.

Cleaner did the same for 35.
D.i.Y guy didn't turn up.
I was only supposed to work 4 hours today but turned out to be 12 thanks to no-shows.

Having to walk from the store to the car in the rain. Other than that it has a pretty good day.

I got a pretty wicked migraine this morning. I just have a bit of a headache left over. My migraine medication to help prevent them is due Friday and the weather has been changing like crazy so there’s a few triggers.
